Although Bloody Daddy doesn’t offer audiences elements they’ve never seen before, the film definitely stands out in the sea of action thrillers. It is full of excitement, action and full of Shahid Kapoor! Also, that extra 0.5 for his heat.

You’ll love Bloody Daddy for the same reason you might have loved Brad Pitt’s action comedy Bullet Train or the Coen brothers’ distinctive dark comedies. It’s weird, crazy, dramatic and hilarious. However, the second half feels a bit static as the action overshadows the humor. The plot is also quite predictable. Bloody Daddy doesn’t take himself too seriously. It’s an absurdly funny, unassuming, brutal and daring action-crime thriller.

If you want to relax after a long and tiring week, Bloody Daddy is the option. It’s light, fresh, fun, fizzy and easy on the eyes. Our biggest complaint remains, a spectacle film of this scale and elaborate canvas deserved a theatrical release. Who wouldn’t want to watch the enigmatic and handsome duo of Shahid Kapoor and Rajeev Khandelwal lock horns with each other on a 70mm screen?

Bloody Daddy deserves an hour or so. Despite the age of Bollywood remakes breaking standards, Bloody Daddy does not disappoint at all. Instead, it takes you on a roller coaster ride that by the end of the movie will leave you buzzing and eventually pulling you back in line for another ride. Shahid Kapoor is ace, Ronit Roy is awesome and Rajeev Khandelwal is awesome! Going with 4.5 stars.

Bloody Father tries to master a certain amount of insanity to keep the momentum going. It’s like that car whose driver is enjoying his rush, taking all the bumps in the middle and reaching the finish line battered and bloody. Not sure if he will become a father yet.
